Three state educators meet up at SuperdomeDecember 26, 2016
Three longtime friends, all who work in different parts of the Louisiana Educational System, decided they needed a break. So, they met up in New Orleans for the weekend to relax, eat, and attend a few events.
Janice Johnson, Thais Anders, and Sonia Smith all work in Louisiana Public Schools. Smith works in Shreveport/Bossier. Anders works in New Orleans and Johnson works in Baton Rouge.
All three agree they love working in the Louisiana School System. “It is a blessing to be able to invest in the future of so many young people. Every day is a new day to pour into their lives,” said Sonia Smith.
Recently, they planned their weekend getaway and one of their pit stops was the Mercedes Benz Superdome. They were able to cheer on their favorite team together… the New Orleans Saints! While they are educators and mothers, they say at the end of the day, “we are just a bunch of Louisiana girls!”
