Baton Rouge is set for the The IRAA Awards Show. The Independent Recording Artists & Arts Awards was designed to be an evening of entertainment and recognition to those artists and minstrels that have made the investments to go beyond the Sunday Service to provide quality gospel music and have shown excellence in ministry.

According to the promoter, this Louisiana based award show is the first and only award show to cover the entire state of Louisiana, and will soon include the states of Texas and Mississippi. It will give independent Gospel artists a major platform and opportunities for positive collaborations by supporting artists of all ethnicities in various divisions of gospel music.

Among the honorees is Shreveport native, Royce Mosley. He is best known for his tenure as Music Director at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Nashville, TN under the leadership of Bishop J.W. Walker. Bishop Walker, now the presiding Bishop over the Full Gospel Baptist Church International Fellowship, has helped Mosely reached hundreds of thousands around the country with popular social media videos from their services.
